NATIVE AMERICAN MINISTRY
One of New Song's two primary missions thrusts under missons pastor Ray Saragosa is to Native American reservations. Through Pastors Tomas Yazzee, Larry Furcap, Sammy Begay and Albert Nez we have developed relationships of love and trust. Tomas Yazee and Larry Furcap have been ordained by us. We are working to plant a church with Tomas as pastor. The challenge is to find a place for the church to operate. Such facilities are very difficult to find on the reservation.
Periodically we take truckloads of clothing, furniture and bikes for kids to both the Navajo and Hopi reservations. Recently, we've been opening relationships on the Rosebud Lakota reservation. We also help out with revival meetings and provide teaching where this seems appropriate. Some funding is also provided for the support of Tomas Yazee.

PASTOR LOREN SANDFORD
teaching in Kharkov 2013
The Lord has deeply connected our hearts with people of Ukraine. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Loren Sandford we have sent teams there to strengthen churches and encourage pastors for each of the last eight years. Pastors Loren and Nathan have spoken for revival meetings all over the country and in 2013 taught Pastor Loren's prophetic school in Kharkov and Yalta.
Besides Kharkov and Yalta, we have ministered in Kiev, Dnieproprotrovsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Kirovograd, Verkhneneprovsk and one or two other small locations.
The conflict in eastern Ukraine has brought great hardship on many in that nation. We have been working to send relief funds to funnel through the churches there. We also send monthly support for the coordinator of the Catch the Fire network in Ukraine through whom we work when we go there.

MINISTRY IN LIBERIA
In 2016 a relationship was established with Pastor Eric Favour Roberts who pastors City of Praise Church in Buchanan, Liberia. This will be ongoing. This west African nation is one of the poorest on earth. The first trip In October, 2016 resulted in multiple connections with Liberian bishops, both in Buchanan (second largest city in Liberia), and in the capital, Monrovia. We were also able to meet with the senator representing Grand Bassa County where Buchanan is located and establish an ongoing relationship with him. We will be returning many times in coming years. Check out the video!
ON THE RADIO IN LIBERIA
Pastor Eric preaches on the radio several nights each week from Buchanan City. The program includes taking phone calls from listeners with questions and requests for prayer. The program reaches a potential audience of approximately 85,000. Pastor Loren had the privilege of preaching on the program twice, responding to calls, answering questions and praying for people on air. Team member Dave Grosso contributed.
NOW SPONSORING A SCHOOL
With an illiteracy rate of more than 60%, education is a critical issue in Liberia. We now sponsor a school, started in September, 2017. Beginning with first three years, the dream is to expand all the way through high school.

SECOND LIBERIA MINISTRY TRIP
We returned in July 2017 for a very fruitful 9 days under a nation-changing anointing. We met with a prominent attorney who ran for president in the fall of 2017 and were privileged to pray for Him. Pastor Loren spoke twice on the radio, preaching and answering questions from call-ins. The station played excerpts all day the next day after the first show. On the last day Pastor Loren was invited to speak for a regional gathering of pastors and leaders under Bishop Wolo Belleh in the city of Ganta, next to the border with Guinea. Good times! The next challenge is to help Pastor Eric start businesses to raise money for the school he has a vision to start in order to educate children whose parents cannot afford tuition. Many children in Liberia receive no education at all.
